Patrick M. Cox

Chief Executive Officer

Pat has more than 30 years executive experience in the telecommunications and identity industries. He founded TrustID, Inc. in 2007.

In 1998, he was a co-founder and the CEO & Chairman of Qsent until its successful sale to TransUnion (Credit Bureau) in 2006. Qsent’s iQ411 service used real-time telephone company records to help banks and other enterprises control fraud and power marketing processes with the high level of accuracy necessary to make confident economic decisions.

Prior to Qsent, Pat co-founded Metro One Telecommunications, where he led the company from initial start-up to IPO. During his 10 years at Metro One, the company became the largest independent provider of voice-based directory assistance services for the U.S. wireless market.

Pat holds 25 telecommunications technology and service patents that have helped reshape all aspects of 411 services. He is also a certified Class 1 NARTE Telecommunications Engineer.

Pat is an alumnus of the Stanford University “AeA Executive Institute for the Management of High-Technology Companies,” a member of the World Presidents Organization (WPO) and past chapter chair and member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO.)

Debbie Parigian, CPA, is a hands-on senior financial executive with more than 28 years experience working with early and mid-stage size companies in the software and telecommunications industries.

Prior to TrustID, Debbie served as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Learning.com; CFO for Deschutes River Broadcasting (acquired by Citadel Communications); and Vice President of Finance and CFO for Pactel Products, a subsidiary of Pacific Telesis. Debbie has also served as CFO for several companies including Sizzler USA, Atlas Guides LLC, SelectMetrics, Inc. (formally Measurecast), Compix, I-O Solutions, SUSA Corporation and HomeTown Buffet Inc. She previously worked in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and Tammi & Sanders.

Debbie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Humboldt State University and became a certified public accountant in California. She is a current member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), Opportunity Knocks and the Oregon Entrepreneur Forum.

Senior Vice President, Client Services

Art is recognized globally for his expertise in financial services fraud management. He has over 30 years of experience operating and implementing leading-edge fraud detection and prevention systems for banks.

Prior to joining TrustID, Art was Senior Vice President and Head of Fraud Operations, North America for HSBC (Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited), running fraud operations and recovery for their credit, debit, private label, insurance and mortgage businesses. Art’s previous role at HSBC was Senior Vice President for HSBC’s cards business where he provided fraud and application processing support for HSBC’s $50 billion card portfolio; including co-branded partners General Motors, Best Buy, Sears, Saks Fifth Ave and Union Plus.

During his tenure with HSBC Art played a strategic leadership role in the development of the cards e-business servicing platforms. He also had direct oversight of a joint effort with the SAS Institute, in the development and subsequent implementation of a world class Fraud Management System, the system currently utilized in HSBC’s North America, United Kingdom, Asia Pacific and Latin America Regions.

Art has served on several boards and committees including the prestigious MasterCard Global Fraud Committee and is currently a Board Member for United Way of Monterey County and he received his BA degree in Business Administration-Information Systems Management from California State University, Hayward.

Brent Godfrey

Vice President Sales

Brent brings 15 years of sales experience encompassing telecommunications, fraud detection, investment banking and call center expertise.

Prior to joining TrustID, Brent was Senior Sales Director with Memento Security, Inc., a provider of enterprise fraud management solutions. He also was a Sales Manager with Adeptra, Inc., a provider of virtual platforms for banking decision engines and automated real-time customer communications.

Brent was with The Kessler Group for more than 10 years, where he served as vice president in the investment banking unit developing credit card portfolio acquisitions. He also led a call center consulting team and assembled affinity and co-branded credit card partnerships. Additionally, Brent worked in technical sales with MCI and with start-up, Current Assets.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Kent State University. He is active in his community serving on several boards in Boston, where he lives with his family.

Dean Black

Director of IT & Operations

Dean has more than 30 years of IT and management experience across a broad spectrum of industries, including financial services and telecommunications.

Prior to joining TrustID, he served as Director of Information Services for Micropump (a unit of Idex Corporation), an industrial manufacturer with locations in the U.S. and Europe.

Dean has spent the majority of his career developing and delivering custom technology solutions, serving in lead data architecture, project management and consulting roles. He brings strong executive and managerial expertise, as well as deep knowledge of both software delivery and IT operations to TrustID. He has successfully served many well-known organizations, including American Express, Intel, Deloitte & Touche, EDS, Standard Insurance, and the U.S. Government, as well as emerging growth companies such as Qsent, New Edge Networks and Pacific Pharmacy Computers (acquired by Opus-Ism.)

Dean holds a BA degree in Comparative Literature from San Diego State University.

Shreyas Saitawdekar

Shreyas Saitawdekar

Director of Architecture

Shreyas Saitawdekar is an information technology professional and evangelist with more than 17 years of experience in software architecture development as well as IT management in the enterprise applications and software space.

Prior to joining TrustID, he was the Principal Architect at TransUnion LLC, a leading global credit bureau. At TransUnion, he invented the “Massive Data Linking” search technology, which enabled searching terabytes of data using cloud-based distributed computing. Previously, Shreyas was the Principal Architect at Qsent Inc. (acquired by TransUnion in 2006), where he created the architecture for Qsent’s Contact Identity search engine. During his career at TransUnion and Qsent, Shreyas pioneered multiple techniques and algorithms in the identity resolution domain. He also consulted at Meridian Technology Group and GDI Infotech.

Shreyas received his Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Shivaji University, India, and his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Bombay, India. He authored a research paper on digital image processing algorithms at the 1993 IEEE sponsored International Symposium in Singapore.

Dan Stone

Dan Stone

Director of Software Engineering

Dan has more than 15 years of experience in robust systems design and operation, high-volume transaction processing and engineering management. At TrustID, he leads software engineering and focuses on delivering world class software solutions for the financial services industry.

Prior to joining TrustId, Dan led development in the Research arm at the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), contributing to the latest implementation of NWEA’s computer-adaptive testing platform. Previously, he led software teams in the development of Contact Identity services at Qsent, through its eventual sale to TransUnion LLC.

A Certified ScrumMaster, Dan employs a range of Agile methodologies in order to ensure predictive processes and software.
